In short
Bambu Status Widget has no ads, no analytics and no server of its own. It sends data only to Bambu Lab's servers (to sign you in and read your printer's status) and, if you set it up, directly to your printer on your home network. I, the developer, never receive any of your data.

Security
All connections are encrypted: HTTPS for sign-in and MQTT over TLS for the printer status. The home Wi-Fi backup remembers your printer's certificate and refuses any other device. Data stored on the phone is in the app's private storage, which other apps can't read.
Sharing
Nothing is sold or shared with anyone. Bambu Lab receives only what is needed to sign you in and send your printer's status, and handles it under Bambu Lab's own privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Tap Sign out in the app to delete the stored sign-in, the printer details (including the home Wi-Fi backup) and the last print status; only your account e-mail stays, to pre-fill the next sign-in. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored. As no data is kept on any server of mine, there is nothing else to delete.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly handle their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
